The courses
Course objectives
During a Conversation & Review course you will improve your Dutch conversation skills with interactive speaking exercises.
​
We practice improvisation in different situations, to give you the opportunity to apply the vocabulary and grammar you learned in the regular courses.
​
We also focus on the pronunciation of words and sentences and challenge you to construct sentences faster and faster.
The levels
There are three conversation courses, with levels equivalent to the regular courses:

Beginner (A1)

Intermediate (A2)

Advanced (B1)

What level should I join?
If you follow a regular course, it is recommended to follow the same level for a conversation course.
If you have learned or have spoken Dutch before, choose the course that fits your level best.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you would like to talk about which course fits you best.
Please note: you can only join the Beginner Conversation course if you have finished Beginner 1 and 2 or if you have learned or spoken Dutch before.
Practical information
A conversation course consists of 3 to 10 lessons. Every conversation course is different, depending on the students participating and the amount of lessons you are interested in. Drop in is also possible!

Where?
Dutch Academy offers online and in-person classes. Go to current classes​ to check dates, times and the location (online or in-person) of the upcoming courses.

When?
Classes will start with a minimum of 4 students. With enough students for a course, the start date will be chosen together. If you can’t make it to a lesson, the lesson will be recorded so you don’t have to miss anything.
The costs
The lesson fee for the online courses is $30+tax (per 1 lesson of 1.5 hours).
The lesson fee for the in-person courses is $35+tax. (per 1 lesson of 2 hours).
The total amount will depend on the amount of lessons in the review course.

The materials
Materials are included in the price and will be provided by Dutch Academy.
How do I sign up?
Fill out the registration form. After completing the form, you will receive an invoice with payment information. Registration is complete after receiving the payment.
